Advance!... On To CollegeAdvance! does one-on-one assistance with college applications, financial aid applications, admission essay writing, and scholarship searchers. They also provide workshops on how to gain access to and finance a college education throughout local community centers, libraries, and churches. U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) - Workshops and Events
The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) is a federal economic development agency that provides programs to assist small businesses with loans. SBA sponsors other organizations to assist small businesses, such as the Service Corps of Retired Executives (SCORE) and the Small Business Development Center (SBDC). SBA conducts monthly events such as government contracting events and other federal and local government, trade, and small business organization events. Please click below for the list of events.

SCORE is a non-profit association dedicated to helping small businesses get off the ground, grow and achieve their goals through education and mentorship. SCORE is able to deliver their services at no charge or at a very lost cost. The City of La Habra currently hosts FREE workshops. The workshops are educational sessions on a myriad of topics ranging from business planning to marketing and financing. SCORE Mentoring - One-On-One Meetings
Starting in May 2017, the City of La Habra will be hosting monthly SCORE Mentoring one-on-one meetings at City Hall, located at 110 E. La Habra Blvd. La Habra, CA 90631. SCORE offers entrepreneurs (who are either launching a start-up or growing an existing business) mentoring at no charge. The SCORE mentors meet with you personally, confidentially and as frequently as necessary to define and analyze your opportunities and assist you to find solutions.
